Bound By Beauty

Attractive Women in a Not-So-Thrilling Release
Armed with a beautiful cast of brunettes (and one not-so-beautiful blonde...but we'll get to her later), Skye Blue's Bound By Beauty has all the ingredients of an above-average bondage flick, yet is never quite able to live up to it's potential. With four segments featuring two girls, I came away not feeling fully satisfied by what I saw.

The problem isn't the women themselves - but the situations they are put in. Nothing seems thought out very well, and from the settings to the costumes to the bondage action itself - everything seems kind of slapped together during filming.

Take, for example, the first scene in which busty Taylor St. Clair plays mistress to the tied-up Anastasia Pierce. Both these women are extremely attractive and very sexy, yet pretty much all we get here is Taylor teasing Anastasia with a number of different items like a riding crop and a cat o' nine tails. Either a little more seduction or a little more tone from Taylor as the mistress could have added so much to this pairing.

For what it is, Scene Two is probably the best on the DVD, as Rene Pornero (looking cute in an outfit that includes black garters and stockings) is bound by mistress Paige Richards in an outdoors setting. Paige informs Rene that she is about to become her sex slave for the next three years as she teases her with a cat o' nine tails and later applies some nipple clams to her chest.

Taylor St. Clair returns for Scene Three, once again playing the mistress role - this time to submissive Jezebelle Bond. As the scene begins, Jezebelle has her hands bound and is on her knees as Taylor orders her to lick her feet. After some play that includes Taylor smothering Jezebelle's face with her cleavage and teasing her pussy with a riding crop, there's a funny bit (that appears to be totally spontaneous) where Taylor smacks Jezebelle with a cat o' nine tails and Jezebelle tells Taylor "that's enough!" Taylor takes advantage of this comment by reinforcing the fact that she's the mistress and then ties her legs to the metal holder that Jezebelle has her hands tied to - so that she is basically left hanging in the air as Taylor exits and the scene ends. Not particularly erotic, but it was fun to watch.

The final scene features Julie Simone, who is the only blonde on this DVD - and not a very attractive one, at that. As the segment begins, Julie is chopping wood with an ax, while wearing a leather mask on her face and having one hand tied behind her back. Paige Richards arrives and makes her lie face down on a wooden post, where she binds Julie and then starts spanking her with various items - including a riding crop, a cat o' nine tails and a hair brush.

Other than the main presentation, the DVD doesn't offer much for bondage fans. There's four trailers for other titles and a photo gallery, but that's pretty much it (a chapter selection is also included). Oddly, although the box cover claims that the audio is in 5.1 Dolby, the soundtrack isn't Dolby encoded at all and sounds rather weak. The video quality, on the other hand, is much better - and a bit above average for an adult release.

Bound By Beauty has an attractive cast, but it's pretty average for a bondage title. It's worth taking a look at if you're a fan of Taylor or one of the other girls in the movie, but it's something you'll probably want to rent instead of purchasing.
